Instagram immediately implements new features related to advertising content. This rule will somewhat change the way celebrities work in Instagram aka Selebgram.

"Using the label 'Paid partnership with' in organic content and Instagram Stories, makes it easy for creators and advertisers to link their work together, maintaining account authenticity," Instagram wrote on their blog on Wednesday (14/6).
As mentioned above, the label can be used for both photo upload and Story. They plan to release this feature in the next few weeks.
The initiative that drives this transparency is not entirely derived from Instagram. Previously a number of programs got insisted from the United States trade commission (FTC) to clarify its relationship with the brands they are promoting.
"After monitoring Instagram posts from celebrities, athletes and other influencers, FTC staff sent over 90 letters reminding them to clearly disclose their relationship to the products they promote in social media," the FTC said in a April 19 release.
How to advertise on Instagram is rather unique. In addition to the official advertising spot from Instagram itself, advertisers often borrow an influential account figure with a large number of followers to promote their products.
Because of the huge opportunity of the program to reap the revenue from the products they marketed, they even went into the Directorate General of Tax filings.
A study from the Mediakix marketing office found that 93 percent of content from 50 pages with the most follower was minimal information about its relationship with advertisers.
"It's important to make sure that the community can easily recognize when someone they follow is paid to upload that content," Instagram added on his blog.
While this feature will function optionally. Instagram however plans to make this feature mandatory for all the programs that advertise.
